Our Commitment to Listing Ethical Practitioners
The Counseling Directory is committed to providing a safe platform for consumers to find ethical and qualified therapists.
We are proud to be an independent directory without any institutional affiliation or commercial interest. Our work is guided by, and continues to be refined by three reputable therapists who are Fulbright scholars. To know more about us and our review committee, please see https://counseling.pk/about-us/
Our listing process follows stringent criteria modelled after international associations such as the American Counseling Association (ACA) and customized to the dynamics of the Pakistani field. To learn about the listing and review process, please see https://counseling.pk/get-listed/
We acknowledge that despite vetting practitioners through the field’s best practices this process isn’t fool-proof. Recognizing our full responsibility towards upholding ethical standards, members of the public can anonymously submit feedback regarding our therapists on email@example.com
The Directory has its internal process of investigating claims of unethical practices through which we will not hesitate to de-list a member if they’re found running an unsafe practice. Through a continuous process of improvement, this directory has gathered a collective of graduates of U.S, U.K and Australian universities many of whom are Fulbright alumni.
The aim of The Directory is to promote and elevate the field of counselling and therapy. It is only through a collaborative effort that this goal can be accomplished. This is a non-commercial venture run through donations of the members, and we are committed to expanding this project ethically.
