Tehmina Shahid is a licensed Play Therapist and Psychotherapist who specializes in working with children and teenagers. She creates a safe and creative space where young people can express themselves through play, art, and other forms of creative expression. Her approach helps children and teens navigate challenges such as anxiety, behavioral difficulties, social withdrawal, loss, or academic stress in ways that feel natural and supportive.
She has extensive training in play therapy and trauma-informed practice, and her work is grounded in the belief that healing happens best when children feel seen, understood, and connected to the adults around them. Alongside her focus on children and teens, Tehmina is also a trained psychotherapist for adults, which allows her to work closely with parents. She supports caregivers in understanding their child’s emotional world and strengthening the parent-child relationship.
