Samia is a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor & Clinical Supervisor based in Karachi. Originally a lawyer by profession, Samia entered the world of mental health in 2012 and trained with a London-based Counselling School’s Pakistan Chapter, Centre for Personal and Professional Development (CPPD). She also has a Master Practitioner Diploma in Eating Disorders and Obesity from the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) in the UK and trained in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) at a Practitioner level with Dynamic Communications.
Samia is a partner at CPPD Counselling School, Karachi, Pakistan as well as a tutor for the Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. She also has a private counselling practice, Nourish, comprising of adult and teenage Pakistani and international clients. She specializes in working with Eating Disorders and Obesity and Developmental Trauma and is regulated by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
