Nida is a qualified Humanistic & Integrative counselor from CPPD (Centre for Personal and Professional Development) Pakistan chapter, which is a renowned London-based counseling school. Nida works therapeutically with adolescents and adults struggling with relationships, career, academics, self-esteem, sexuality, anxiety, depression, bereavement, and trauma. She provides her clients with a safe space and therapeutic holding to enable their organic growth and to empower them.
Based on each client’s needs, Nida uses a combination of Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and CBT approaches, along with a number of art and mindfulness exercises. In addition, she also conducts frequent skill shops and trainings to help individuals cope with everyday stress, anxiety, and time management issues.
In the past, Nida has worked as a therapist with the Aas Addiction Centre, and with the Free Mental Health Clinic. She has also been working as a part-time therapist for Habib University for the two years now, and provides individual therapy sessions to students, staff, and faculty. Currently, she holds a private practice in the Clifton and Defence area of Karachi.
Prior to entering the field of mental health therapy, Nida also worked in the corporate sector (Banking & FMCG industry) as a Financial Analyst for half a decade as a Bachelor and Master’s degree holder in Finance from CBM.
